NBI was awarded the contract for building all systems at the new ENI Operations Headquarters in the town of San Donato Milanese.

Designed by Thom Mayne, the 2005 winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize and the principal of Morphosis Architects of Culver City, California, the 65,000 m2 building complex is to host 4,600 workstations.

ENI's new Milan headquarters, to be built by ATI Salini Impregilo Lamaro Appalti, was designed to be eligible for a LEED Gold certification, the most widely used US rating system of buildings’ energy efficiency and ecological footprint.

NBI’s contract calls for the preparation of the building systems design – based on Building Information Modelling (BIM) – procurement and project coordination, installation and testing, commissioning and certification of the technological, mechanical, thermomechanical, electrical and special electronic systems.

Inside  the new ENI Operations Headquarters, NBI will operate in areas defined as Basement, Icon Tower, Landmark Tower, Existing Building as well as those connecting the above to surrounding areas.
