PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The “T19” soundstage project, completed in June 2025 within the historic Cinecittà studios in Rome, saw NBI engaged in the construction of a new, technologically advanced building capable of meeting the needs of modern audiovisual productions and built with environmental sustainability in mind.

The T19 soundstage, consisting of a 48.5 x 24-meter building, houses the soundstage (870 m2) and the service building (500 m2).

The project was implemented using the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology, which enables integrated, digital management of the entire lifecycle of the project, from design to maintenance.
Adherence to the highest environmental sustainability standards during the design phase enabled the creation of a structure with extremely high energy performance, in compliance with regulations, “CAM Requirements,” the current Minimum Environmental Criteria, and the DNSH (Do No Significant Harm) guidelines.

The new building was constructed with particular attention to climate adaptation, water management, the circular economy, and reducing environmental impact. The building integrates highly efficient energy systems, renewable energy systems, and low-impact materials, significantly reducing grid energy requirements. The structure also guarantees high standards of comfort, fire safety, and thermal and acoustic performance.
