PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The “T19” Sound Stage project was completed in June 2025 inside the historic Cinecittà studios in Rome. A piece of building designed to serve the most advanced audiovisual productions, built with a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability, Construction works were carried out by NBI.

The new sound stage consists of a building measuring 48.5 x 24 m, which houses the sound stage (870 m2) and the services body (500 m2).

The project was developed using Building Information Modeling (BIM), a digital approach that allows for integrated management of the asset’s entire life cycle — from design to long-term maintenance.
Compliance with the highest standards of environmental sustainability during design phase led to creation of a structure with very high energy performance in compliance with the regulations, the “CAM Requirements”, the Minimum Environmental Criteria, in force and DNSH – Do No Significant Harm.

Particular attention was paid to temperature and water management, circular economy principles, and a minimal impact on the environment. The studio integrates highly efficient energy systems, and plant installations powered by renewable energy sources, significantly reducing electricity consumption. The structure is designed to meet the highest standards of comfort, fire protection, and thermal-acoustic performance.
